USGS Digital Raster Graphics - South Florida Mosaic
Interactive map information:

DRGs - 1:100,000 (Display scale range = 1:20,000 - 1:100,000)
The following Digital Raster Graphics (UTM - NAD27 - Collars Intact, 1:100,000) were downloaded from LABINS: F24080E1, F24081E1, F25080A1, F25080E1, F25081A1, F25081E1, F26080A1, F26080E1, F26081A1, and F26081E1.
Each DRG was cropped to remove as much of the collar as possible without removing any of the topographic map. Pixels in the remaining collar region around each image was converted to white. All cropped DRGs
were mosaicked to form one DRG. The mosaicked DRG was reprojected to UTM, WGS84 and cropped to include only the topographic maps. The image was cut into 80 square sections using the Map
Series and Mosaic tools in Erdas Imagine.
DRGs - 1:250,000 (Display scale range = 1:100,000 - 1:250,000)
The following Digital Raster Graphics (UTM - NAD27 - Collars Intact, 1:250,000) were downloaded from LABINS: C24080A1, C25080A1, and C26080A1. The DRGs were processed following the same steps described above, except the
mosaicked image was cut into 96 square sections. |
