Description:
Frustule is curved with slightly capitate ends, and pinched in the middle of the raphe keel; the two middle striae are further apart from each other than the rest; 7-8(10) fibulae in 10µm; length is 230-430µm, breadth is 10-14µm; striae count is 12-19 in 10µm
