Description:
Valves semi-elliptical with slightly protracted acute ends sometimes slightly deflected ventrally. Dorsal margin convex; ventral margin straight to slightly convex. Raphe branches straight near the center deflected ventrally. Axial area narrow, linear. Central area on the dorsal side extended into narrow fascia reaching valve edge. Dorsal striae distinctly punctated, parallel at the centre, becoming slightly radiate towards the ends. Ventral striae not resolvable under LM.
