Description:
Valves semi-lanceolate with convex dorsal margin and triundulate ventral margin, inflated in the middle with acute apices, 50-80µm broad, 13-18µm broad. Raphe biarcuate, axial area narrow, central area absent. Transapical striae radiate, 10-14 in 10µm.
Notes:
Rare in surface sediment samples collected from Florida Bay at sites with water level < 1m and salinity between 29 – 35ppt
