Description:
Valves broad linear with parallel or slightly concave margins and wedge-shaped, somewhat drown out, acutelly rounded apices, 50-90µm long, 6-14µm broad. Raphe eccentric, fibulae indistinctly differentiable from the transapical striae, 12-16 in 10µm. Transapical striae interrupted by broad hyaline fold.
