Description:
Valves lineolate-lanceolate to elliptic or elongated rhomboid, 42-140µm long, 22-35µm broad with obtusly rounded ends. Axial area very narrow or linear and unilateral, central area appears as a broad stauros that is not reaching to the margin, widened and truncate outwards. Areoly forming transverse striae, radiate throughout the valve, 11-15 in 10µm.
