Description:
Valve semi-lanceolate with acutely rounded apices, 31.5-46.8µm long, 5.11-6.20µm broad. Dorsal margin smoothly curved, ventral margin more or less straight. Raphe filiform with dorsally bent distal ends and simple proximal ends. Axial area on the dorsal side extensive, on the ventral side narrow. Central area developed on the dorsal side, on the ventral side boarded by ventral striae. Dorsal striae straight at the central part, becoming slightly radiate towards the ends, 19-21 in 10µm. Ventral striae short, uninterrupted at the centre 16-18 in 10µm.
