Description:
Valves semi-lanceolate with protracted rostrate ends. Dorsal margin convex; ventral margin slightly convex at the centre. Raphe branches straight, external and distal raphe endings deflected dorsally. Conopeum expanded, visible under LM as a longitudinal line running along the axial area. Axial area very narrow, widened on the ventral side towards the centre; central area small, bounded on the ventral side by the striae. Dorsal striae slightly radiate, ventral striae dash-like, not interrupted at the centre.
