FCE LTER Site Representative/ President:

Luke Lamb

Luke Lamb is a M.S. student in the Wetlands Ecosystem Research Lab under the supervision of Dr. Tiffany Troxler. He is focused on evaluating various indicators of coastal marsh collapse in Everglades National Park. Luke is excited to be serving as President of the FCE Student Group, and looks forward to a year of fostering a sense of community among FCE grad students.

Jordan Massie

Jordan Massie is a PhD student working with Dr. Jennifer Rehage in the Department of Earth & Environment at FIU. His research focuses on the movements and ecology of fishes in the Shark River of Everglades National Park. He is excited to be part of this year's leadership team and help to provide fellow students with great opportunities to connect and collaborate.

Ike Onwuka

Ike Onwuka is a PhD student under Dr. Len Scinto in the Freshwater Biogeochemistry Lab. He is looking at the fate and transport of phosphorus in Everglades Canals. He is excited to help foster student engagement and development in science and research.

Meredith Emery

Meredith Emery is a first year M.S. student working with Dr. Evelyn Gaiser and the Periphyton Lab at FIU. She is currently studying the ecology of micro algae in the Everglades to establish future research projects. She is eager to work with the FCE leadership team to organize events and collaborate with her fellow researchers.
Off-site Representative: 

Ryan James

Ryan James is a PhD student working with Dr. Jimmy Nelson at the University of Louisiana. His research focuses on understanding how food webs respond to disturbance and restoration. He is looking forward to working as off-campus rep to increase a sense of collaboration and community with FCE students outside of FIU.
