FCE Related Data

FCE related data are collected and processed by outside agencies, such as the National Climatic Data Center (NOAA), National Oceanographic Data Center and the U.S. Geological Survey, and then added to the FCE database on a regular basis.

National Atmospheric Deposition Program

The National Atmospheric Deposition Program/National Trends Network (NADP/NTN) is a nationwide network of precipitation monitoring sites. The network is a cooperative effort between many different groups, including the State Agricultural Experiment Stations, U.S. Geological Survey, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and numerous other governmental and private entities. The National Atmospheric Deposition Program has also expanded its sampling to add the Mercury Deposition Network (MDN), with currently with over 90 sites. MDN was formed in 1995 to collect weekly samples of precipitation which are analyzed by Frontier Geosciences for total mercury. The objective of the MDN is to monitor the amount of mercury in precipitation on a regional basis; information crucial for researchers to understand what is happening to the nation's lakes and streams. NADP's excellent quality assurance programs ensure that the data remain accurate and precise.
Everglades National Park Everdata

Everdata is a site dedicated to providing information, documents and data about the Everglades. This includes the ability to search and retrieve documents, display images and obtain and display data files.
National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) (NOAA)

NCDC is the world's largest active archive of weather data. NCDC produces numerous climate publications and responds to data requests from all over the world. NCDC operates the World Data Center for Meteorology which is co-located at NCDC in Asheville, North Carolina, and the World Data Center for Paleoclimatology which is located in Boulder, Colorado. NCDC supports a three tier national climate services support program - the partners include: NCDC, Regional Climate Centers, and State Climatologists.
NOAA Tides and Currents

NOAA Tides and Currents, managed by the Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS), is the portal to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's vast collection of oceanographic and meteorological data (historical and real-time), predictions, and nowcasts and forecasts.
USGS- Everglades Depth Estimation Network (EDEN)

The Everglades Depth Estimation Network (EDEN) is an integrated network of real-time water-level monitoring, ground-elevation modeling, and water-surface modeling that provides scientists and managers with current (1999-present), on-line water-depth information for the entire freshwater portion of the Greater Everglades.
