LTER Network Data Catalog: The LTER Network Data Catalog contains entries for over 4000 ecological datasets from 26 LTER Network research sites, and thousands of additional datasets from numerous other ecological field stations and research institutions.

LTER Climatological & Hydrological Data Access (ClimDB/HydroDB): The National Science Foundation's Long-Term Ecological Research (LTER) program and many U.S. Forest Service Experimental Research Stations collect and maintain extensive, long-term ecological databases including streamflow and meteorological measurements. These databases have been widely used in intersite comparisons, modeling studies, and land management-related studies. To facilitate intersite research among the network of LTER sites, individual sites maintain local climate data in local information systems while a centralized site continually harvests, updates, and provides access to all sites' data through a common database. Common distribution report formats and graphical displays have been established to meet specific needs of climate data users. Funding from the U.S. Forest Service has allowed the climate data prototype (ClimDB) to be improved and expanded to include hydrologic variables (HydroDB).

LTER SiteDB: Each of the 26 LTER sites encompass unique ecosystems and research approaches, investigators, students and management systems and as part of the a larger LTER Network, they share expertise, data and a common missions. LTER SiteDB serves as a portal for users to easily find each of the 26 site's general information such as the site's contact information, History, Research Topics, Institutional Affiliations and a link to the site homepage.

ECOTRENDS Data: The Trends website is a portal to a large and diverse collection of standardized long-term ecological datasets, unique data exploration, graphing and synthesis tools, and information about participating research sites and their parent agencies. These datasets, tools and information are freely available to researchers who wish to pursue cross-site synthetic studies.

LTER Spatial Data Workbench The LTER Network Office provides support for development of technology within the LTER Program. Examples include research involving large spatial scales, use of geographic information systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing Technologies. Acquisition, archiving, and distribution of satellite and GIS data useful to the LTER Network are major activities of the LTER Network Office. The LTER Spatial Data Workbench provides users the option to view and download AVIRIS, TM, SPOT and MODIS images for each of the 26 LTER sites.

ECOTRENDS Socioeconomic Catalog The Human Population and Economy dataset contains over two hundred separate variables suitable for describing changes in population and economic structure since the end of the eighteenth century. The dataset was collected for each of the more than two hundred and fifty counties associated with the 21 continental North American LTER sites plus the Luquillo site in Puerto Rico.
