Description:
Valve is variable, may be elliptic, elliptic-lanceolate, linear with a weak middle swelling, rarely slightly rhombic, round, oval or club-shaped; axial area is narrow, striae are parallel or slightly radiate; length and breadth is as in the nominate; striae count is ~8-12 in 10µm
