Description:
Valve is linear to linear-lanceolate, more or less transapically broadened in the middle, and having cuneate apices; raphe is eccentric; 5-9 unevenly spaced fibulae in 10µm; transapical striae are transverse; length is 60-150µm, breadth is 4-8µ; striae count is 20-25 in 10µm
