Description:
Valve is elliptic to linear-elliptic with broadly rounded apices; raphe is straight with distant external central endings, apical endings terminating at a certain distance from the apices; axial area is connected to a broad, elliptic central area; barely discernible transapical striae are limited only to the marginal part of the valve; length is 5-9µm, breadth is 3-4µm; striae count is 30 in 10µm
