Fresh

Description:

Valves linear to linear-elliptic, with broad, subrostrate to rostrate ends. Sites slightly to moderately convex.
Notes:
Found in the bottom part (ca. 150cm and lower) of the sediment core collected in Featherbed Bank, central part of Biscayne Bay. According to Patrick & Reimer (1966) this species is common in lakes and bogs sediments, occasionaly found in streams.
