Description:
Valves linear to linear-lanceolate with parallel margins and obtusely rounded apices, 15-25µm long, 4-6µm broad. Raphe straight, external central endings hooked in one sidevery far from each other, central area narrow, transapical striae parallel in the middle becoming convergen at apices, ca. 20 in 10µm.
