Description:
Valves semi-lanceolate with protracted rostrate to slightly capitate ends. Dorsal margin convex, ventral margin straight. Raphe branches straight. Axial area narrow, central area absent on the dorsal side. Dorsal striae dense, but well visible under LM, parallel. Ventral striae not visible under LM.
Notes:
Rarely recorded in material scraped from the seagrass blades collected from the area around Butternut Key, Florida Bay with water depth < 2m and average salinity 29ppt.
