Description:
Valves semi-lanceolate with constricted dorsal margin, ventral margin straight with produced slightly capite apices, 25-35µm long, 3-5.5µm broad. Raphe straight, axial area unilateral, developed on the ventral side, central area rectangular. Dorsal striae punctate, interrupted by a lanceolate hyaline area, 11-14 in 10µm, on the ventral side 16-23 in 10µm.
